How to make a travel recap
Create and view for free. No account needed.
A travel recap brings your completed trips together in one place. Instead of scrolling through separate bookings and photo albums, you can see the cities, countries and patterns that made your year yours. Donde creates that recap in your browser, with no account needed to create and view the standard Free version.
1. Gather your completed trips
Start with each destination and its arrival and departure dates. Use booking confirmations, a calendar or your own travel spreadsheet to reconstruct the past. Leave future plans and other people's private details out. You can enter destinations manually, import a local CSV or select a Google Sheet. Review the imported rows before creating your recap. Importing does not save your trips to an account.
2. Create and check your recap
Choose the years you want to include, then select Create my recap. Explore maps, city and country rankings, nights away, revisits, routes, travel rhythm and the other available chapters. Correct any trip details that do not look right. A fictional complete example recap shows how the chapters and Premium themes work before you enter anything personal.
3. Save privately or share a link
Create a free account when you want to save or share. Saving and sharing are separate actions, and signing in does neither automatically. Review the exact visitor version before creating a share link. Standard Free links include AS1 banners. Paid publishing credits unlock custom text, photos and themes, with no AS1 banners in Premium recaps.
Who can find a shared recap?
There is no public recap directory. Shared recaps are unlisted and excluded from search engines. Anyone with the link can view and forward it, so it is not password protection. Stop sharing in the app to prevent new access. Copies or screenshots already obtained cannot be recalled.
What does it cost?
Creating and viewing a standard recap is free. A free account saves privately and shares standard recaps by URL. Five publishing credits cost USD 4.99, with no subscription. A successful new Premium share uses one credit; editing and private saving use none. Read the publishing and payment details.
